Emeritus Professor Laurence J Walsh
Emeritus Professor Laurence J Walsh AO is a specialist in special needs dentistry. Laurie has been using PBM since 1988, and has published numerous research studies and reviews of PBM applications in dentistry. He is the immediate past president of the Australian Association of Laser Dentistry (AALD).
Dr Johnny Chan
Dr Chan’s goal is to provide good patient care with his acquired knowledge and the latest dental technologies. Since graduating, he has attended numerous continuing education programs to improve his knowledge and skills in dentistry. In 2007, he started his dental clinic, Amazing Dental in Nowra.
His laser experiences began in 2008. He uses the diode laser for soft tissue procedures in his dental clinic. In 2015, He purchased the Fotona Lightwalker and pursued further educated on using Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers in daily dental clinical procedures. At about the same time, he developed an interest in using photobiomodulation in orthodontics and pain management.Dr Dail Kim
Dr Kim is a local & international speaker, trainer demonstrator. Since 2016, he has been a Key Opinion Leader for DIO Implants Australia. He has special interests in orthodontics, dental implants, aesthetic dentistry, multidisciplinary treatments including full mouth rehabilitation, and, of course, dental lasers. He is the Conference Committee Executive Member of AALD. Dr Kim works with a team of specialists to assist in various dental procedures to ensure all patients receive the best possible patient care.
Dr Andrew Nixon
Dr Andrew Nixon founded the Honeysuckle Dental practice in 2010. Andrew has a special interest in complex restorative dentistry and is passionate about dental rehabilitation through dental implants and laser dentistry. He graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDSc) from The University of Queensland in 1990 after completing a Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS) research degree. Andrew
