Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders and Craniofacial Pain for Adults and Children

This immersive 4-day residency, led by internationally recognised Dr Steven Olmos, is designed to be both educational and interactive, providing participants with practical strategies and a holistic framework for managing craniofacial pain, TMD, and sleep-disordered breathing in adults and children.
Program Overview
Day 1 – Clinical Examination & Diagnostics (25th June 26): Comprehensive patient review and hands-on clinical examination techniques, including TMJ, posture, CBCT interpretation, and live demonstrations.
- Day 2 – Comorbidity, Therapeutics & Technology (26th June 26): The overlap of apnea/snoring with craniofacial pain, organised treatment strategies, pharmacology, and advances in laser and diagnostic technologies.
- Day 3 – Neuroanatomy & Sleep Disorders (27th June 26): Practical neuroanatomy, trigeminal system and autonomic function, headaches, MRI/CBCT analysis, OSA in adults and children, and clinical demonstrations.
- Day 4 – Appliance Therapy, Nutrition & MNRT (28th June 26): Decompression and oral appliance therapy, nutrition in chronic TMD, orthodontic considerations, and a dedicated day of hands-on Motor Nerve Reflex Testing with clinical application.
